Email Campaigns: Segment for Results

Time to think about your next email campaign.  Segment your customers into groups based on last purchase.  Depending on your business your groupings may vary.  A good guideline is months since last purchase. Samples grouping options include

  • Actives - less than 6 months since last purchase
  • 6 months since last purchase
  • 12 months since last purchase
  • 18 months since last purchase
  • 24 months since last purchase
  • Inactives - 24+ months since last purchase

Give each group a code in your database. Talk to each group differently in your email messaging. Drive results!
