Planning for Space City Business Analysis Development Day (BADD) is in progress. Members and non members are welcome to attend. Group packages are available.

This year's theme is Evolution in Business Analysis. Attendees will be able to choose from two educational tracks:

1. Leading the Technology Revolution -This track will cover topics such as DX (Digital Transformation) Programs, DevOps, and Big Data & Data Analysis.

2. Driving Future Decisions - This track will cover topics such as Process and Decision Modeling, Relationship Management, and Working with Executives.

Austin Chapter wins International Member Contest on June 25, 2013. Achieving a 7% increase in new members, the Austin Chapter will receive 2 complimentary AMA memberships to award to 2 prospective members. The whole chapter and board are strategically focused on member recruitment and retention for the next year. This is the first time the Austin Chapter has received this award and the entire chapter is excited about the new year.

Sharon was selected to attend the American Marketing Association's Leadership conference held annually for Chapter Leadership in Chicago, IL. At the conference Sharon participated in Leadership strategy sessions and panels regarding chapter management. Information was exchanged among attendees representing 70 chapters. The marketers strategized on how to work with volunteers, attract new members and retain current members. With the acquired knowledge Sharon will lead a team of membership volunteers on membership recruitment.
